50 Members of Congress Presented Awards at ILA Launch Event
ILA Debuts Nation’s Most-Advanced Scorecard Platform for Right-of-Center Groups
WASHINGTON, DC – Nearly 50 members of congress attended the launch event for the Institute for Legislative Analysis (ILA), held at the Conservative Partnership Institute. ILA presented awards to members who earned the highest ratings on ILA’s new Limited Government Index – the nation’s most comprehensive and in-depth legislative scorecard made up of nearly 40,000 congressional votes.

The ILA will serve as the new data and policy hub for right-of-center organizations, with leading national advocacy groups utilizing ILA’s research platform to construct their own scorecards, helping the groups more effectively lobby lawmakers and deploy their activists. A heavy focus will be placed on state legislatures, where for the first time a coalition of leading national organizations will be individually grading all 7,400 of the country’s state legislators across the full spectrum of policy. The system will also provide liberty-minded groups with countless new evaluative tools including category scores for lawmakers and state-based rankings.
