ILA Supports S.3670 – End Welfare for Noncitizens Act

The Institute for Legislative Analysis (ILA) supports S.3670 because the federal government has a core duty to enforce our nation’s borders and uphold the rule of law. As introduced, this legislation would help reduce incentives for illegal immigration, strengthen deterrence against illegal entry and repeat illegal reentry, and lessen the growing taxpayer burden associated with unlawful immigration, government dependency, and runaway federal spending. ILA commends Senator Rand Paul for introducing this important legislation and for advancing policies that prioritize fiscal responsibility, border security, and the rule of law.
